Peony and Dist (or Saphir as Peony will still call him by his birthname) have a love-hate relationship. Peony loves Saphir or at least considers him a good friend while Dist hates Peony with all his might. This stems from Jade. Because seriously, Jade caused the majority of the problems in the game when he created fomicry.Saphir and Jade had known eachother since they were infants. Both were also exceedingly brilliant and twisted. Jade could manipulate fonons while Dist had a knack for machines. Then Peony came and Saphir was angry. He was very self-centered and couldn't stand that Peony was taking Jade's attention away from him. This reached it's pinnacle when Jade accidentally killed Nebilim. They worked together to try to replicate their beloved teacher but instead they created a monster. After locking the monster away Jade had truly realized that even fonons and fomicry had its limits and could now accept the value of human life. Saphir on the other hand believed that there was still a way to revive Nebilim and couldn't accept the fact that Jade no longer had the desire to do so. He believed it was Peony's fault Jade changed and continuously tries to change Jade's mind while making threats towards Peony. Peony once again is oblivious... or so he seems. He really does know that Saphir hates him but he refuses to let that get in the way of the friendship he believed that they once had. This annoys Dist even further because he believes that Peony is ignorant to everything and unworthy of Jade's attentions.
