Spiral AliveElaiv is not about Ayumu Narumi. Instead it tells the story of a different high school student, Imari who had just fell in love for the first time with her classmate Shirou Sawamura. What she doesn't realize is that his ex is a killer and one of the blade children. Although her life may seem wild as Shirou’s ex begins a murderous rampage, it gets even worse when Ayumu’s brother, Kiyotaka joins the mix in funny animal suits and more blade children begin to appear.
This manga features the Blade Children: Eyes Rutherford, Kanone Hilbert, Kousuke Asazuki, Ryouko Takemachi, and Rio Takeuchi all of whom are major characters in Suiri no Kizuna. Unlike many sequels and prequels, Elaiv is not just a piece of “fanservice, and in fact Elaiv could be read as a standalone although, some of the plot lines that come to a head in Suiri no Kizuna may leave new readers a bit lost.
Due to the fact that Hizumi doesn’t appear in Elaiv you won’t find anything else about it on this website. Though because of its unlicensed status, you can find it for download through Minna Scans. You can also buy it online or in stores such as Kinokuniya. Spiral's CreatorsEita Mizuno is the man behind the art for Spiral. He tends to get more credit for Spiral despite the fact that he had little involvement in its plot. Eita Mizuno has released three Spiral artbooks and at least three calendars to date in addition he also shows off some Spiral art on his website where he hosts Spiral related flash games. |
